WTS DISCOUNTS

WTS honors our LAW ENFORCEMENT, FIRE PROTECTORS, and MILITARY by offering a 20% discount (on trigger work only), to those who present documentation.

WTS also offers a 20% Discount (on trigger work only), to dealers who can present a current FFL; and to customers who send in a group of 5 or more units for trigger work.  The 5 units do not need to be the property of only one owner but, unless other arrangements have been made, they MUST be sent in one shipment.

WTS GUARANTEE

All WTS trigger work has both a money back guarantee and lifetime warranty.

If, FOR ANY REASON, a customer requests that his trigger be returned to its original specifications within 30 days of shipment, all fitted parts will be replaced with either the original parts or new “issue” parts; and the cost of the trigger work, less return shipping charges, will be refunded.

If a trigger assembly should require part replacement within 24 months of shipment, new trigger work will be done for the cost of replacement parts and return shipping.  The trigger work will also receive a new lifetime warranty.

If a trigger assembly should require part replacement after the first 24 months, new trigger work will be done for 1/2 the cost of trigger work plus the cost of replacement parts and return shipping.  The trigger work will also receive a new lifetime warranty.

If a fitted part should break or become worn, the assembly should be returned to WTS for repair under its warranty.  IF, for whatever reason, this cannot be done, the customer should call WTS for advice.

ALL M-16 PARTS WILL BE RETURNED AFTER MAKING THEM 'UNUSABLE'.

“After-market” AR-15 lower receivers may also have various quality control problems that prevent trigger work from being done.  The two most common problems involve:

1.  Improperly hardened lower receivers that have enlarged pin holes which prevent trigger parts from maintaining proper alignment and engagement with each other.

When this problem exists, the assembly will be returned WITHOUT trigger work being done.

2.  Pin holes are either mis-located or are not drilled straight - thus causing parts to bind or have improper alignment and engagement with each other.

In some cases, this problem can be corrected through fitting; but the MAJORITY of such assemblies will have to be returned without trigger work being done.

PARTS REPLACEMENT AT TIME OF TRIGGER WORK

Part replacement is fairly rare on most types of semi-auto triggers UNLESS:

1. Parts have been “polished” or modified before shipping to WTS.

2. Parts are defective because of surface flaws, improper machining, or inadequate surface hardening.

3. There are unique tolerance or alignment problems that will not allow one or more parts to be properly fitted.

In situations where factory parts are incompatible with each other but are within normal specification ranges, WTS will simply exchange parts at no charge to the customer.

If a part must be replaced because it is defective, WTS will notify the customer and proceed per their instructions.

Significant part replacement and durability problems are especially relevant to AR-15 and AR-15 Type rifles, as seen below:

AR-15 and AR-15 TYPE WEAPONS:

Critical contact points of AR-15 hammers and disconnects are not involved in WTS trigger work because they cannot be fitted or polished without removing their rather shallow, soft, and irreplaceable surface hardening.

Instead, all fitting and polishing is done on the sear because it can be re-hardened to meet WTS’ minimum durability standard of 5,000 cycles without perceptible wear or breakage.

WTS’ AR-15 trigger work also involves fitting non-critical areas of the disconnect so that there is no unnecessary wear or battering at critical hammer/disconnect contact points - thus increasing their normal operating life to WTS’ minimum durability standard of 5,000 cycles without perceptible wear or breakage.

Because of the relatively low minimum life of unfitted “issue” AR-15 parts; one or more trigger parts may have to be replaced IF:

1.  Colt-manufactured AR-15 parts have been cycled to the point that they will not meets WTS’ minimum durability standard of 5,000 cycles after trigger work has been completed.

2.  “After-market” AR-15 parts have been installed in the trigger assembly.  Most “after-market” AR-15 parts have neither the surface hardness, finish, or tolerances that are needed to produce WTS’ trigger pull specifications and minimum durability standards.

3.  M-16 parts have been installed in the trigger assembly.

The BATF has ruled that these parts are ILLEGAL and has instructed WTS to DESTROY any M-16 parts  found in AR-15 assemblies shipped to WTS for trigger work.

ALTERING WTS’ TRIGGER WORK, IN ANY WAY, WOULD NULLIFY THE WTS WARRANTY.
T
HIS INCLUDES REPLACING PARTS PREVIOUSLY FITTED BY WTS.
