WTS TRIGGER WORK

Under adverse shooting conditions, stress, time factors, unstable shooting positions, target movement, etc., will cause the sights to be constantly moving in and out of proper alignment with the target.

When such sight and target movement exists, group size and "hit probability" are ALWAYS determined by how CONSISTENTLY the shooter can move the trigger FAR enough and FAST enough to cause hammer/sear disengagement during the limited TIME that the sights are properly aligned with the target.

If a semi-auto rifle is being used, that consistency will be less than with a bolt action rifle because of the excessive amounts of time and physical effort that are needed to overcome the semi-auto rifle's long and heavy trigger pull.

When trigger work is done to eliminate that UNNECESSARY time and physical effort, the shooter's "hit probability" and group sizes will be significantly improved under the types of adverse shooting conditions that exist when skill and trigger control are more important than a rifle's mechanical accuracy.

Many have held the idea that reducing spring tension and hammer/sear engagement are the keynotes to improving trigger pull specifications, thereby addressing the "hit probability" issue. While such methods may reduce trigger pull, they should never be used as the sole means of improvement as the safety and reliability issues they create make them an extremely hazardous alternative to proper trigger work. There is no question IF the weapon will malfunction - the question is WHEN?

Trigger assemblies with WTS trigger work can best be described as “minimum tolerance” issue triggers because they retain AT LEAST the same degree of safety and reliability as the original trigger.

In many cases, WTS trigger work actually INCREASES the trigger assembly’s original safety, reliability, and operating life. The reason for this is that proper fitting produces maximum hammer/sear engagement and eliminates most of the wear and battering problems that cause trigger malfunctions and premature part failure.

With the possible exception of the AR-15 (see part replacement section), all Standard, Contoured and Set trigger work meets WTS' MINIMUM durability standard of 5,000 cycles without part breakage or perceptible wear.

There is no time limit on this upgrade work and it receives the same money-back guarantee and lifetime warranty as new trigger work. All warranty and the upgrade provisions also apply to new owners who may purchase the rifle and/or trigger assembly from the original owner.

IN ORDER TO HAVE AN ASSEMBLY REPAIRED OR UPGRADED UNDER THESE VARIOUS TERMS, THE OWNER SHOULD RETURN THE ORIGINAL WARRANTY LETTER WHEN THE ASSEMBLY IS RETURNED TO WTS.
